Hold’em
No limit Texas hold’em, played as a sit and go: everyone starts with the same chips, the blinds climb, and the last player with chips wins. Play against friends at a private table, join an open table, or sit down against the computer. Free, with no account and no signup. Pick a name and play.
It is also a way to learn. A coach watches every hand and can tell you what it would do and why — your equity, the odds the pot is laying you, your outs, your position, and what everyone else has already done this hand. You choose how much help you want:
- No help. Just play.
- Help me decide. Before every decision, the coach says what it would do and shows you the numbers behind it.
- Critique my play. Nothing until you have acted — then the coach tells you what it would have done, and what your choice cost or gained.
New to hold’em? Start with how to play. A tournament takes about twenty minutes.
Hall of fame
The sharpest play on this server. Every decision a player makes is graded against the coach, whether or not they asked for help, and this is how close they got. Where they finished is beside it — you can win a tournament badly and lose one well.

Hall of shame
The loosest calls and the boldest folds ever recorded here. Somebody has to chase the gutshot.

Hold’em is played in the calmholdem app for iPhone and iPad, and the table lives at holdem.calmapps.com. Your seat and your chips are held if you lose connection, and the computer never plays your hand while you’re at the table.
